My Little Shining Knight
" A small bright one
amongst millions in the sky
the farthest away yet the most elegant
you stand there firmly staring at me
providing me the warmest shine
the loveliest one of a kind
growing stronger from time to time
Staring at you every night
is my life's most wonderful ever sight
i shall never give up the fight
knowing you are there by my side
My little knight in the sky
how can i describe
those little secrets, dreams and
wishes i placed on you
hoping one day reality comes to view
On days you may look dim
life's so cruel it may seem
yet you never fail in your ray
even with the slightest gleam
you steal a smile from me everyday
Others may be bigger than
you
casting shadows over you
but you remain glittering in my heart
i shall never look back right from the start
Each night came passing by
at times i may laugh and cry
nevertheless i know your shine will never stop
a hope i shall never drop
you will always be my little pride
